At 18 years old, his grandparents sent him to USA with an allowance of $150 a week. But Nick Dandolos was interested in gambling games and started to bet on horses races. He used to play a lot, so, he could lose a big sum of money or win a huge one as well. Once, he won $500000 on horses’ races and he went to Chicago to lose it in dices and gambling games. But, after a while, he became very good at the poker and gambling games so he became, by this way, a touristic attraction when he was playing somewhere. He is also famous for playing online poker during 5 months, in heats up with Johnny Moss. At the end of this poker marathon he just said that he was too tired and he left.
